Dayton and Kerri Vet Bills
Organized by: Leslie Crickenberger
Dayton has been checked out. His legs are likely the result of ricketts in his early age and nothing to worry about. So he will be forever known as Cowboy Dayton. He got his eye checked out, some meds, and scheduled his dental for Monday.

Dayton and Kerri came to me when their mom had a major stroke and could no longer care for them. Family members had hoped that they would be able to foster them until their mom could finish rehab, but after several weeks in rehab it became apparent that sadly their mom would no longer be able to care for them. Dayton is a 10-year old male and Kerri is a 7-year old female. Dayton needs to be seen by a specialist as his back legs are extremely bowlegged and appear to cause him some back pain. Trying to prevent IVDD, which is extremely common in dachshunds, we would like to get him seen. Kerri is overweight and needs basic vetting. While her needs are less, we need to get some bloodwork done on her to check for thyroid, cushings, etc. Both dogs need a complete senior checkup. As most of my friends know, I have been very active in rescue and usually cover vet bills on my own. I am asking for any little help you can give - it all adds up - and will go to helping these two little loves find a new home in their golden years as their lives have been turned upside down. Thanks!
