Please join the public art project in Dayton!
We need your help to accomplish this public art project. We need $1,099 to complete this job. Please click on the "DONATE" link above to donate money to this project. It is safe, and tax deductible, too!
We have an opportunity to create mural art on the wall that now hides a half-demolished building and storefront. The art work will improve the street scene and encourage more visitors to our downtown area.
There will be 5 art pieces that showcase Dayton agriculture and history. You can see some of the images, here, depicting our heritage and surrounding agriculture.
With $1,099 we will be able to stabilize the wall, install the art pieces, and include a wonderful "Welcome to Dayton" sign at the top. Please, donate. No amount is too small. Large donations are more than welcome, too!
We have put in over 100 volunteer hours, and have raised $2,400 through a grant from Yamhill County Cultural Coalition and donations for this project. And we only need $1,099 more to complete the work.
The Dayton Community Development Association, using the Oregon Main Street approach, is working in partnership with property owners and the City of Dayton to beautify several business locations on our main business thoroughfare. This is one of the projects.
The DCDA is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for your support!
