A current student at the Denver Center for International Studies and member of National Honor Society recently traveled to Cambodia through the American Youth Leadership Program/Global Explorers. She has always been inspired to help the less fortunate, but through this trip she inquired a personal insight that caused her to take action and she brought this about at a National Honor Society meeting. Together they developed a project that will benefit a remote school located near the Caradmom Mountians of Chi Phat Cambodia. She has already contacted Jordy Olsen, a Global Explorers representative and Linda Oum, the Cambodian Program director.
Our service project and a community service project at our school where we are planning on sending pens and pencils to Cambodia. We have already collected them but in fact there are so many pens and pencils to send that the box weights so much! We are in our final stage of shipping them off! But, we need your generous contributions to make this project complete and help the less forutunate students in Cambodia.
