Please take a moment to read our story and support us in our cause to raise money for atTAck addiction in hope of removing the stigma of addiction.
We do this to bring awareness to all about the struggle and stigma of addiction with the hope that no parent, sibling, aunt, niece, grandparent, friend will not feel the pain of losing a loved one to this terrible disease.
We do this with the hope that one addict or one family will ask for help without shame.
We do this with the hope that a broken system will recognize the importance of embracing addiction as a disease and make changes towards effective treatments.
Deanna lost her struggle to addiction on October 29, 2015. Deanna only battled this horrible disease for only a short time of 1 1/2 years. This monster grabbed a hold and quickly swallowed her into its black hole. All though, she tried to fight back with the love and support of her family it was just stronger and more cunning than she was.
Deanna was a bright diamond in her short time here on earth. She had a beautiful smile, loved glitter everything and anything, loved music, spending time with her niece, the Jersey shore and mostly every day simple things.
So as our family tries to move forward in creating a different life without Deanna we have decided to turn our tragedy into positivity by reaching out to others and working towards removing the stigma of addiction.
Please consider donating to our cause, no amount is too small. Please help us in making Deanna's struggle meaningful by making change.
