This is my 3rd year running in the CT Komen. Last year I ran with Team Norma F. Pfriem Breast Cancer Center in which my surgeon, Dr. Mary Pronovost also ran. First year I had a small team participate and also won 3rd pl. in the Survivor's 40 and over Div. MY 1ST 5K!!!!! I was also a 2 year breast cancer survivor at the time. This year??? Over 5 years CANCER FREE!!!!!
Did you know that Connecticut has the HIGHEST incidence of breast cancer in the U.S. with over 3,000 Connecticut women diagnosed annually? Komen Connecticut needs YOU as a part of our crusade to end breast cancer forever. Your fundraising efforts will help save the lives of Connecticut women.
More treatment. More research. More survivors. A cure.
