Debbie's Fight for Freedom
Organized by: Jennifer Tice
My mother, (Debbie), was diagnosed with cancer (Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma), in early April of 2014. A tumor (the lymphoma) appeared on her right tonsil and from there, after 2 hospitalizations, 2 biopsies, and many tests, cancer came back as the answer. Starting May 5th, she will be undergoing intense chemotherapy to help shrink and kill the tumor. Afterwards, another lesion (superficial squamous cell carcinoma) will be hit with treatment and surgically removed. During this time, she will lose her hair, become fatigued, weak, and in need of support. My mother has always been the one to give and never ask for a helping hand in return. This is her third time battling cancer and she will fight through it because she's always been a fighter. We're asking for any kind of donation, whether it be just $5 or perhaps an encouraging message or prayer, during this time of need. My father is on disability due to his severe arthritis and with my mother out of work as of now, medical bills will start to pile up. As mentioned above, any kind of donation, monetary or through words, can and will be appreciated. Thank you for all the love and support! Help show my mom she has a huge support system!
