BENEFITING: Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor
EVENT DATE: Jun 17, 2012
Mileage Tracker: 700
As you might know, our son Elliott spent some time in the hospital in January with severe respiratory failure. In honor of the support we received during that difficult time, we are raising money on behalf of the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) Charities of Huron Valley.
As part of this campaign, Adam will be running the inaugural Ann Arbor Marathon on June 17th (Father's Day)! This will be Adam's 7th marathon and (he says) the hottest. (Who plans a marathon for the middle of June?) Knowing his training is benefitting a great cause will inspire him to get to 26.2.
Please sponsor Adam's run in support of this great charity by donating here.
No donations are too small to help the cause. If you can give, thank you! If you can't give, no sweat. I know we all have our own causes that are near to our hearts. In any case, if you are in town on June 17th, join me in watching Ann Arbor's first-ever marathon.
When Elliott was hospitalized, Adam and I stayed at the new Mott House on the floor of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at U-M hospital. This is a great organization that helps families during extreme and emotionally-trying times. To learn more about the Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor, please visit the RMH website.
