Walk By Faith is just that. A community coming together to walk by faith believing we can make a difference in a child's life one step at a time. This event is in honor of my daughter who was diagnosed at age 10 with Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. She is now 15 and has a subcutaneous ICD implanted. Her life has been changed by this heart disease. No PE, No sports, minimal activity. Kate is my hero though. She has been through a lot and still smiles. My daughter would love to live a normal healthy active life, but she can't. Her risks are too great. Your support and donations will help research come one step closer to a cure. Studies show cardiomyopathy affects 1 in every 100,000 children in the U.S. under the age of 18. Cardiomyopathy is nondiscriminatory in that it can affect any adult or child at any stage of their life. It is not gender, race, geographic or age specific. There are four types of cardiomyopathy and with your help we can make a difference and fight towards a cure. Please sign up to walk and/or donate today. Help make a difference. Thank you and God Bless.
