BENEFITING: Nuday Syria
Hi everyone, If you're reading this, you are likely someone I am lucky enough to call a friend, and you probably know I am turning 25 very soon. Every year, you come together with others to make me feel incredibly special on my birthday without my asking. This year, I am asking for it, except instead of birthday parties, dinners and presents, I am asking for a donation to help displaced Syrian children. Usually when I fundraise, I do it for orphans, regardless of color or creed. But the Syrian crisis is too severe to ignore. This time, I am fundraising to prevent more children from being orphaned, to prevent more parents from being left childless, and to ensure the survivors have a fighting chance. All proceeds will go directly to NuDay Syria, an organization many of you are familiar with, and more importantly, a charity that has no overhead charge, ensuring that 100% of your donations will go towards helping those in need. For more information, please visit: http://www.nudaysyria.net/ If only 100 of my friends donate $25 each, we could sponsor a child for 2 whole years. If only 50 of my friends donate $50 each, we could sponsor a child AND send him/her to school for more than a year. That one year could make all the difference in their life, if only a few of us spare a one night out at a restaurant. I'll even send you a personal thank you card if you (please) leave your name. Please donate. And don't wait until my birthday to do it!
