Hello friends and family. When Delaney was very small I often looked at her and said, “I sure hope you enjoy crew when you get to high school, because you are going to row”. Our experience had been that her older sister had coxed (Coxswain) for the team years before and it had been a defining experience in her life. So, you can imagine our delight when Delaney attended learn to row camp. We asked her the first day if she liked it, and her response was. “I LOVE IT!!” She has never looked back. We appreciate how crew has helped her to develop and mature as a young woman. It has been amazing to see her blossom academically (dummies don’t row, it hurts too much), athletically (I will no longer arm wrestle my daughter) socially (what can I say about a fifteen year old with a cell phone) and most of all as a person. We appreciate your consideration and contributions to an endeavor that will teach lessons she will use throughout her life.
