Applicants of the Anita L Crandle scholarship must be an African American Highlands High
School Senior who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The applicant must fulfill the criteria established by the Anita L. Crandle foundation, which include academic accomplishment, as evidenced by a B+ cumulative average; therefore, those with a G.P.A. of 3.5 may apply. Additionally, we are looking for someone who has demonstrated leadership or active participation in Highlands High School organization, or service within an organization outside Highlands High School. Each individual should submit a completed application, which includes (1) an essay, (2) a transcript, (3) two recommendations – one academic and, one community service and (4) a one paragraph biographical sketch.
