DEN provides safe and uncompromised independent living for persons of all abilities. The ergonomic compact design is wheelchair accessible, intended to support a single disabled occupant while minimizing the cost of rent/utilities. (See the full design at www.den-tinyhouse.com).
DEN is one of 22 tiny homes under development for the Emerald Village Eugene (EVE) affordable micro-housing community, a unique housing model structured to enable residents to transition out of homelessness and build financial equity. (Read more about EVE at http://www.squareonevillages.org).
Teams of architects and contractors are providing pro-bono design and construction services, and each team is responsible for procuring the products and materials for their design through material and financial donations.
We are trying to raise $25,000 to build TWO of our wheelchair accessible DEN units.
Everyone deserves a place to call home. DONATE NOW!
All donations are tax deductable through Square One Villages, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
