Dennis Rises After A Big Fall
Organized by: chelsea fowler
What started out as an enjoyable day on the lake, turned into a traumatic one when Dennis fell 60 feet off of a cliff onto a bed of rocks. After being helicoptered to the hospital, spending 3 days in the ICU, and enduring 2 surgeries, doctors were absolutely amazed to inform us that Dennis is not only alive, but he is going to make a full recovery. He will be in a wheelchair for the next few months, suffering from a broken hip, shattered left arm, a cut spleen and liver, and several gashes, scrapes, bruises and stitches all over his body.
Although we are very blessed he is alive, he is going to have a very long road to recovery with learning to adapt to the wheelchair, upcoming therapy sessions and the constant flow of incoming medical bills (none of which are going to be covered by insurance). We want to help Dennis any way we can and want him to focus on his recovery without having to stress about the bills.
So, every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference for Dennis. Thank you all so much for any support, whether financial or simply in prayers.
