As you all know I volunteer at DAS and we adopted our dog Walter (5/9/14) from the Denver Animal Shelter. He was a stray and very depressed and would howl all day long in the shelter. Since adopting him our life has been filled with love and laughter. Denver Animal Shelter (DAS) is home to more than 8,000 lost and abandoned pets each year. I believe so much in what DAS does that I'd like to continue to help improve and enrich the animals' lives. The shelter is a state of the art "green" building, as well, which is beyond awesome. Please help me in raising some money for the Denver Animal Shleter!
How can YOU help find homes for shelter pets? You can sponsor a kennel makeover!
Help liven up the Denver Animal Shelter kennels. Your donation will make these projects possible:
• Acoustics for kitties
• Decals for dogs
• Frills for felines
• People will look twice to see an interesting kennel and notice the homeless animal inside!
• Better acoustics make the cats meow… maybe not out loud, but it reduces their stress. Reducing stress not only helps the quality of that feline’s life at the shelter, but also helps them show their best selves for meeting their new family!
• Help to enrich the lives of these shelter pets!
******This benefits the city run shelter, not a non-profit. All $ raised will go directly to help these animals.
