BENEFITING: BIKING FOR A BETTER WORLD INC
On August 1st, 2011 I am going to ride a mountain bike loaded down with all the things I need to survive in the Colorado backcountry for the duration of the infamous Colorado TrailThis trail is 580 miles long, with 500+ miles of singletrack. I am riding with my friends Mike Kugler, Stefan Benier, and Nick Batie to support our favorite charity, Biking for a Better World. This group is based in Lake Tahoe, CA and their mission is to deliver bikes to people that need them to improve their quality of life. Every dollar we raise will be directed to helping deliver a large number of bikes to a rural village in Nicaragua. This village was the site of a new school that was financed entirely by Biking for a Better World in 2007. My ride will last approximately two weeks, and I will be averaging 50 miles per day on rugged trail. Please help support Biking for a Better World by donating to my project!!!
