Support Organized Communities Against Deportations (OCAD) in our work to fight against harmful immigration enforcement, raids and deportations, and provide community members with the knowledge and resources to defend themselves and organize their community.
Donations will go directly towards making more "Know Your Rights" trainings and resources possible, and supporting the case organizing.
OCAD is a Chicago-based, undocumented-led organization working with individuals and families to fight harmful immigration enforcement practices through grassroots organizing. We believe organizing and public policy advocacy should be led by those directly affected, be creative, multi-generational, actively build towards concrete wins.
Our work focuses on supporting families and community members who are facing deportation or immigration detention by organizing grassroots campaigns to support their deportation fight. In addition to being able to stop deportations, working case by case allows us to monitor the activities of the immigration office, document and identify patterns of misconduct, and work on campaigns to change immigration enforcement policies and their implementation.
