Hey everyone, my name is Diana. I am 45 years old and have recently been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. I have worked at Anthem Blue Cross for about seven years. After my position was outsourced to the Philippines, I relocated to San Diego doing temp work. I then received a call from my mother that she needed my help since she wasn't doing well physically. So I moved back to Los Angeles to take care of her in May 2015. Unfortunately, it turned out that she had pancreatic cancer. I took care of her while she was on home hospice but sadly she died on July 8, 2015. About six months later my father ended up passing away.
During December of 2015 I wasn't feeling my usual self. I felt week and pain when I went to the bathroom. One day I was cutting some vegetables in the kitchen and blood was running down my shorts. I thought I was just going through my period so I ignored it but the blood would not stop. I went to the bathroom and more came out and I was feeling like I would pass out so my friends called 911. I went to the hospital and they did an ultrasound and other tests but the doctor misdiagnosed it as an internal hemerhoid. After being released from the hospital my physical condition was declining so I went in for a colonoscopy. I was shocked to hear I had an anal tumor about 3 cm in size. I was so scared. The oncologist was insistant that I get chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. I spent every night researching the statistics on what the percentages were for full recovery. Sadly to say, I wasn't too thrilled with the outcomes. I also don't find it appealing to poison my body and pay for it. I learned that even with chemotherapy and radiation there are "stem cells" that are not destroyed but later on become stronger in their attack on the human body. Sometimes, by conventional treatment the immune system is too weak to fight off diseases or viruses and the person ends up dying.
I have watched Ty Bollinger's videos and am convinced that there is a better way--one that doesn't damage the healthy cells but attacks the cancer cells. Years of eating junk food, stress and lack of exercise may have very well put me in this dreadful situation but I truly believe (with all the evidence there is from cancer survivors) that there is hope. I am hoping to raise money for cancer treatment that reverses cancer cells into healthy cells.
I want my success to be an inspiration to thousands of others that are going through this distressing experience in their own lives or the lives of someone close to them. I know that there is a "better way" and that life is just beginning. I take everyday as a blessing and I treat my body with respect, healthy eating, and exercise.
