CHEMO CAN BE EASIER FOR OTHERS, THAN WAS FOR ME! PLS HELP!
Organized by: Diane Caldwell
I, like too many women, went thru a breast cancer battle, a few yrs ago. Some of you are aware, as I documented everything. The cover photo was my 1st treatment, I only wish someone had told me that there is no pain and that it could be most relaxing part of your wk, like it was mine! The blonde and spicy red wigs were great, except in the hot weather! FaceBook made my 13mos of chemo, much easier. There were multiple surgeries, including an extensive reconstruction, with tram flap. I also found out that I never should have had chemo, which can cause cancer and heart failure, up to 7yrs out! Throughout, I didn't abuse alcohol, do drugs, or chase menlol, etc...That's when I developed an incredible ability to shop thrift stores and go right for the valuable art, antiques and more, at pennies on the dollar! I am determined to utilize my ability to find the valuable art, etc...in to a business buying/selling and make a difference, especially with others diagnosed. Until my medical crisis, I never had such a burning passion for all types of art, making old things new again, etc...I'm hoping to start selling the art and more that I've accumulated and get out there and find more! I'll need to pay appraisers to even know what the values are and probably go to, major auction markets. I have a variety, of so many items. I have a cancer album on my FaceBook page, that I'm actually proud of! Besides, I had the attitude throughout, hair is overrated and now mine has never been so thick, nor as long! Thankful in saying I'm cancer free, 6 yrs now.:-) Time to pursue my passions, helping the newly diagnosed breast cancer patients, animals and their many needs and others, that need help. Praying for opportunity to make a difference, really know that I can and asking for support! Understand if you can't, but, please share.:-)
