BENEFITING: Boston Health Care For The Homeless Program Inc
EVENT DATE: Sep 19, 2016
Imagine everything it takes to be a mother. Now imagine having to worry about where your family is going sleep and what you are going eat. At that point, it is easy to see why diapers fall very low on the list of priorities for homeless mothers and families. No child should have to sit in a dirty diaper and with your help they don’t have to.
Diapers for Homeless Families in Boston has partnered with Boston Health Care for the Homeless to help families in need and provide them with the necessary resources to live a safe and healthy life. This partnership will help ease the stress of homeless families by making sure they are able put fresh diapers on their young children.
The mission of our team is to raise $5,000 by October 31st. By reaching this goal, we will be able to ensure that over a dozen children will have access to clean diapers. Infants require up to 12 diapers per day while toddlers about 8. Keep in mind, diapers are one of the many necessities cannot be bought with food stamps. Every penny helps get us one step closer towards a dry, clean diaper for a baby in need. We are extremely thankful for your donations and so are mothers that will have one less thing to worry about.
