THE STORY:

Jackie Bailey wrote -

The Dick Hollander Open was started in 2013, by brothers Jake and Josh Akman and the Hollander/Capon family, as a charity golf tournament funding the quest to cure Alzheimer's Disease (AD). The tournament honors their grandfather Dr. Richard Hollander, an avid golfer who taught them to play golf, and victim of AD for 15+ years. The tournament is organized by his large & loving family. All of Dick's grandchildren are raising money on Crowdrise to give to Cure Alzheimer's Fund.
