Diego Josele Garza Erdmann class of Texas A&M University-Kingsville ’10 and 12’ was a jack of all trades, a great friend, and a life saver a phone call away. He grew up in an environment where he learned to love and respect nature, and became fascinated by it. Diego was a devoted Javelina and received his Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture in 2010 and his Masters of Science in Plant and Soil Science in 2012.
He was a loving son, brother and friend. Diego was proud of his origins, Mexico, Culver Military Academy and Texas A&M-Kingsville were his passions. Ready to help anyone with anything, Diego's memory in Texas A&M University- Kingsville wants to keep helping those with passion for agriculture to fulfill their promising futures.
By making an endowed scholarship to honor Diego Josele Garza Erdmann, we aim at keeping his memory and values alive. This scholarship is directed toward graduate students who aspire to further their knowledge and expertise in the agricultural sciences in order to understand and protect the living things that surround us and feed us.
