Education is the foundation for which youth can build a new future. Our graduates earn incomes 4 times greater than the average national wage, in Kenya, Laos and Cambodia. Digital Divide Data (DDD) offers an innovative approach to job training and education to help break the cycle of poverty.
We employ over 1,000 exceptional youth (ages 18-22) in a work/study program. Recruiting talented young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds and impoverished families, we offer them an on-ramp into the digital marketplace, while also giving them additional job trainings and scholarships for university.
Your support helps DDD youth break the cycle of poverty.
$50: Monthly scholarship for one student
$500: Annual scholarship for one student
$1500: Full scholarship for one student to earn a Bachelor Degree
“I wanted to join DDD because I wanted to go to university and get a brighter future for myself.” - Beryl Akinyi Onyango, current DDD scholarship recipient from Nairobi
“It would have been almost impossible to go to university without DDD. Ideally, I’d like to work in the Kenyan government. They are trying to create spaces for women in these kinds of sectors, so I’m hoping that by the time I graduate, I will have places to go and a bright future ahead of me.” - Mary Wakarindi, current DDD scholarship recipient from Nairobi
