Disable Man & His Dog on the Streets
Organized by: Deborah Nolan
Rodney and his dog Odin moved to Kansas under the assumption his Stepdad had a house for him and his dog, than turned around and had him and his dog thrown out on the streets, loosing all his belongings. Rodney is in bad health, he's on disability but they have been j He spent 22yrs in prison and has turned his life around, but trying to survive now in society changes is hard. No one wants to help him, but me and I barely get by. :( I am 5hrs away from him and it kills me to talk to him, hearing how bad in pain he is and his disability getting cut he can't even get the meds he needs. Plus he won't go to the hospital cause he doesn't have anyone to watch Odin and he would feel bad if something happened to him. The reason I'm asking for so much is to get him into his own house, get him the medical attention he needs. If not I'm afraid he's not going to wake up one morning. :( His migraine headaches are getting worse, dr's prescribe meds but he can't afford to get them. He has or had Odin as a service dog, but he's not sure if he has to re-register him as a service dog again, if so I think he said there was a fee. So any little bit will help.
