Disaster meal on wheels
Organized by: Douglas Anderson
Disaster meals on wheels is a 36 foot trailer pulled by a truck which contains food for the public EMT personnel as well as the people that are being rescued. Some of our emergency personnel in North & South Carolina went more than 24 hours with nothing to eat, people that are stranded has gone even longer. The front part of the trailer will house the staff and the back 25 feet will be a kitchen sat up for cooking. I'm a veteran with a truck, trailer and a idea to bring a hot meal to people in need. If you have ever worked nonstop for a extended period of time with no food or a hot cup of coffee then just give a dollar, all of you veterans out there know exactly what I'm talking about, just the smell of a fresh cup of coffee can give you that extra energy that just may save a life. I don't expect to have it ready in time for this disaster but there will be more. Let's make a difference.
