I’m truly ECSTATIC to run in Bay to Breakers for the second year in a row as part of DISH staff. Every day, we provide high-quality, permanent housing to San Franciscans who suffer from serious health issues. DISH housing and the community building programs we run help our tenants get off the streets, rebuild their lives, and strengthen the surrounding neighborhoods.
This year funds raised will support improvements to the Tenderloin community, including a large six story mural on the Windsor Hotel, our home for 92 formerly homeless tenants in the Tenderloin. The mural theme is “Everyone Deserves a Home” and will overlook the recently renovated Boeddeker Park. We’re also bringing more yoga classes to our buildings, hosting our annual Tenant Appreciation Party, and so much more. YOU can make all that happen!
My goal is to raise $500 of the $15,000 need to fully fund this project and make a lasting and impactful change to the Tenderloin that our tenants and neighbors can take pride in.
Thank you for your support!
