Disney II Magnet School is a PreK-12 fine arts and technology magnet school that currently serves grades PreK-12 at two campuses in Chicago’s Irving Park neighborhood. The Kedvale campus, serving grades PreK-6, was opened in 2008, and the Lawndale campus was added in 2013 to serve grades 7-12. Currently, Disney II serves 1022 students; 45% low income, 16% African American and 45% Hispanic.
Disney II Magnet has a school culture that values student choice, growth, and diversity. The school facilitates the process of empowering each student to design learning experiences that stretch beyond the traditional classroom and school setting.
The Disney II Edcuational Foundation is a volunteer-driven, community based organization that raises funds to preserve the quality of education and promote the learning environment at Disney II.
