BENEFITING: KENNEDYS DISEASE ASSOCIATION
The Kennedy's Disease Association is an underfunded non-profit that helps support research for the rare nerve disease known as Kennedy's Disease and those effected by it. The disease has a degenerative effect on nerves in men's bodies through a mutation in the X chromosome and can make every day tasks-work, travel, family life-more difficult than they already are. Through a personal representation competing at track meets and uniting clubs around Danbury to support the cause, I hope to increase awareness of the people living with Kennedy's Disease and fund research. The KDA is volunteer based, so proceeds are put straight to good use, not paying wages or excessive advertisement campaigns. Thank you for supporting our cause!
