Though it may have been a few years back, we all remember our very first job interview. I distinctly remember how it felt to don a suit for the first time, and how much confidence it gave me as I walked into my first nail-biting interview. I have been blessed to connect with the inspiring women of Grace Institute, a non-profit organization in New York City started in 1897 by then Mayor W.R. Grace, an immigrant himself.
118 years later, Grace Institute continues to train and prepare women of limited means with the knowledge and clothes they need to get their first job. A job single mothers and newly minted American women from other countries need to care for their families and start their journey to success.
Please join me in donating $100 to buy a “woman of Grace” her very first job interview suit. It's a wonderful way to show gratitude for all the good fortune and support we have been given over our careers.
