Dog Olympics 2015
Team Member: Kristen Adams
Hi! I'm Kristen!
I have had the pleasure of working with Isaac and the Torok family planning the Dog olympics! I work for the American Cancer Society and I am so grateful for the fundraising that Isaac and the Dog Olympics have done towards the Bark For Life of Lansing.
Last year, I wasn't able to make it to the dog olympics. Because my mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer of unknown primary the day before the event. On that very same day... we found out that our sweet family dog, Barnum, was sick (likely with cancer) and needed to be put down. In one day, cancer turned our family upside down, FOREVER.
I'm so grateful to be involved in this even this year, in memory of my mother, who we lost in October and our sweet Barnum.
Well, we're doing it all again on Saturday, July 25, 2015. The big event will be held at Moores Park from 9 a.m. until noon.
You can register your dog by creating your own fundraising page and joining our campaign. We are asking that you raise $25 per person/canine team to participate.
