3 years ago, I sat at my father's bedside as he slowly and painfully lost his year-long battle with cancer. Cancer is ugly, cancer is nasty, and it doesn't take people peacefully. I witnessed my Dad's death, I saw the confusion and pain he suffered through. I will do anything in my power to help this fight against cancer, and part of what I can do, is beg of you all to stand up to cancer with me.
My family lost my father, this, 15 years after cancer took my grandmother. Losing each of them crushed my family, but we will keep fighting. This October, with the help of Stand Up 2 Cancer and DogTown Crossfit, we all stand up and fight together in a brutal workout event in downtown Culver City. However, that's the finale, today, and in the days leading up to it, I need your help. Help me raise funds, to help people diagnosed with cancer, become cancer survivors.
If you knew my Dad, you know what a horrific battle it was for him. If you didn't, but you know me, then help me fight now, for my family, and millions of others. Please donate and help us crush cancer for good.
