Do it for Mo!
Organized by: Danny Latcovich
I think we've all known or worked with someone who has lived in a country with terrible conditions. Some of us are lucky to have been born in the United States. We're able to do and be whatever We want. My friend Mohamad is 23, and lives in Lebanon. He works for an insurance company, where he makes about $3 and is in school for Network engineering. If you didn't know he lived in the middle east, you would have guessed he grew up somewhere in Seattle. He disagrees with fasting, although he still does, for 30 days because he becomes unproductive, He is constantly Philosophizing on different forms of government, and he mostly has no one to talk to except people he can relate with in other countries (We even attempted learning Spanish together VIA Skype, which was utterly unsuccessful for both of us). He has talked about moving somewhere else for as long as I've known him, but now that ISIS is pushing into Lebanese towns I decided it was time for action. I want to raise $2000 for him to get a plane ticket, and a few months rent. A few donations and we can change the life of this philosopher, poet and good man.
