Imagine one morning waking up feeling like you have the flu, but you never recover.  You lose your ability to return to your daily life – driving, socializing with friends, being able to go to work or school, even taking a shower on your own.  Then imagine being told by a doctor that this will be a lifelong illness with no effective treatments and no cure.    

These are common realities of those who suffer from DYSAUTONOMIA, a group of neurological disorders that impact the autonomic nervous system, affecting approximately 70 million people worldwide.  Even though dysautonomia is fairly common, it can take many years for patients to get diagnosed due to a lack of awareness amongst the public and within the medical profession.  With your help, we can improve the lives of people living with dysautonomia and strive for a cure!

Local families impacted by dysautonomia have organized Dollars for Dysautonomia, a cocktail party benefitting Dysautonomia International, to help promote public awareness about dysautonomia and raise funds for research.

 

We invite you to come and join us at this exciting event on Thursday, October 19, 2017, from 6:00-9:00pm at Artwork Network, 878 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, Colorado, 80204. Tickets are available at $50 per person and include complimentary heavy hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer, and entertainment.  The night will feature an auction, music, photos and fun!   Attire is business casual or cocktail.

The funds raised from this event will be donated to Dysautonomia International, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Their mission is to identify the causes and cures for all forms of dysautonomia, and to enhance the quality-of-life of people currently living with these illnesses.
