BENEFITING: LOST LAKE RUN
Family and friends, this cause is very important to me as my niece and nephew were born with this life threathening disease. I lost my nephew, Zachary Simpson, to the disease in 2006 at the young age of 18. He was an amazing young man. He inspires me and the rest of his family and friends to this day to bring awareness to this cause. My brother directs the Lost Lake Run taking over running it from a family who started the race in Seward several years ago. They to have family with this life threathening disease and who battle it every day. Many of our family members and family friends volunteer to assist in putting the race on each year. My niece, Kelly Simpson, is healthy (and of course courageous and beautiful) and has been benefiting from some of the new research this fund raising supports. I want nothing more than to be able to fund the efforts in order to find a cure for her and all the people who fight this disease every day. Please donate today and join the fight for a cure.
