September 15, 2012
Dear Friends and Family,
On October 14, 2012, I will be running the Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and raising funds through "CrowdRise." Once again, I will be raising funds to fight blood cancers in honor of my father, Don Crowell.
Over the years, LLS has been a driving force behind treatment breakthroughs for blood cancer patients. The drug Gleevec, developed and funded through support from LLS, combined with Dad’s perseverance and profound faith (and Mom by his side), has contributed to the recent miracle of undetectable levels of cancer in his body.
Please "run with me" and help raise funds for lifesaving cancer research by making a donation to LLS on this secure fundraising website.
I will continue to run with ribbons attached to my racing singlet honoring cancer fighters, survivors, and angels. Send the names of your honorees to my email address at firstname.lastname@example.org. I accept prayer donations as well, for the power of the Lord makes all things possible.
Remember... together, we CAN make a difference... ONE MILE AT A TIME!
Thank you in advance for your generous donations.
Love and hugs,
