Organized by: George Lincoln
everyday someone is diagnosed with a mental disorder. many families believe that in order to take care of these people they need to send their love one's to a residential care facilities or worse a nursing home that doesn't specialize in the mental disorder that thier love ones have. leaving in grief of knowing there is no other options families cut out those love ones not wanting to feel or remember that grief. The don't lock us away for who we are foundation hopes that with your help we can fix this problem by having nurses, nurses aids, and specially trained doctors and care givers who are only trained in these type of disorders and can give those with mental disorders the love and care they desperately need so they aren't locked away because of who they are.
