Dot Art is a visual art and expressive therapies program for children age 3-10 in Dorchester (aka Dot), Boston's largest and most diverse neighborhood. Serving approximately 500 students a week and over s thousand each year, Dot Art offers art classes at five Dorchester elementary schools. Dot Art also has two Independant art studios where classes in painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed-media and collage are offered. Dot Art also runs school vacation as well as summer art camps on a sliding fee scale. From neighborhood fundraisers to community events like the Savin Hill Little Kids Halloween Parade, Dot Art is sure to be there providing a creative outlet for children. From the “Paint Your Own Face” station Dot Art staffed at the Dot Day Chili Cook-off to the kite making station at the Ronan Park Festival...these are just some of countless creative opportunities Dot Art is providing across the neighborhood.
