My friend, Jenny Kessman (23), is a Marketing Associate at our office. Her and her sister, Rachel (26), has been working hard and trying to support her mother who's been undergoing intensive chemotherapy for the past 2.5 years for her battle against pancreatic cancer.
Her mother, Dore (56), has been a Clinical Documentation Specialist and RN at several hospitals in the NY Tri-State area, supporting the needs of the medical staff at each location for over 30 years.
Dore has decided to go out on disability and stop working full time, which she has been doing throughout all of her treatmentsg. Dore is being supported through her leave, and with help from her own mother (81) two daughters, and extremely supportive group of family and friends.
Dore was diagnosed with Acinar Cell Carcinoma, a rare form of pancreatic cancer that 1 in 400 people are diagnosed with each year. The Kessman's have been fighting hard with a positive attitude and have never given up hope.
Thank you for your continued support, sending positive vibes and well wishes. It means the world to the Kessman's.
