The DreamCatcher Wild Horse & Burro Sanctuary is a 1400 acre preserve that serves as a permanent safe home for 300 wild mustangs, burros and other equines who have been abused or neglected or who were scheduled for slaughter but were pulled from pipelines throughout the West.
The founder of this sanctuary runs the entire operation with the help of two part time assistants. Because the property is so vast and the terrain is difficult to negotiate, it's difficult for staff to be able to reach isolated areas where horses and other wildlife may be in distress or where poachers and trespassing hunters have injured or killed some of the animals.
A 200cc dirt bike is needed to better protect the sanctuary's inhabitants and the land itself.
