THE STORY:

Children are the most innocent victims of poverty. In countries like Guatemala, some poor kids are left without the oppertunity to get an education. But with a little outside help from us, we can change the destiny of three kids lives by giving them the chance for an education. $500 is all it takes to provide basic needs for one child for one year through the Integral Heart Foundation. With today's technology, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of the less fortunate from our smart phones by donating whatever we can. To act on that, I am reaching out to family and friends like you to help me give three kids the chance for an education. Please be generous and join me in this effort. Together we can make a real difference in three kids lives!

Come meet students you're helping:

Jackie (top right)

Jackie Beatriz is 9 years old. Her mom is suffering from depression after the death of her brother and grandmother in the last six months. Jackie wants to study and believes her skin problems and lack of appetite  is due to stress.

Felipe (bottom)

Even though Felipe lives with 11 other people in
crowded conditions this does not deter his personality from shining through. Everyone in the barrio knows Felipe. Some laugh when he tells people he his going to be an architect. But he just laughs back and describes a building he dreams of building one day. Felipe is playful
and sometimes mischievous but committed to staying away from bad influences and studying.

Jessica (top left)

In her community Jessica is known affectionately as 'Heart Jessica' since she has had one heart operation already in her life (she is fine!). Her mom takes good care of her and she does her best to study and live a happy and healthy life.
