THE STORY:

Jason Kim wrote -

Dr. Malcolm Munson Lloyd, a medical doctor and entrepreneur, died on April 24, 2014, in an automobile accident in Miami Beach, Fla. A resident of New York, N.Y., Malcolm was 42.

Family and friends note his incredible generosity, kindness and sharp sense of humor. Those around him were often inspired by his optimistic spirit, remarkable zest for life, positive energy and drive. Malcolm enjoyed spending time in Maine with his family at the Portland Yacht Club. He was an avid snow and water skier, tennis player and runner. He'd recently become very active at his local Crossfit box in downtown New York.

We have established a fund in honor of Malcolm M. Lloyd, our loving friend, husband, father, brother, son, and CEO/Founder of Double Cross Vodka. The family asks that remembrances be directed to this fund. The sole beneficiaries are his two sons, Nicholas (5) and Maxwell (1), and his wife Solange. The objective is to provide ongoing financial support for Malcolm's family. Thank you for your continued thoughts, prayers, and generosity.

Dearest Solange, There are simply no words, except that we know how happy you were together and this is not how it is supposed to be. Your children are beautiful and they have been robbed. Sending you love and our most heartfelt sympathy. Eileen and Steve xxooo 4 years ago
