BENEFITING: YAMBA UGANDA INC
About 1.1 billion people around the world are the victims of a growing water crisis. This is an issue not only offending public health, but general education and world economy.
In Uganda, the town of Ziroobwe is in need of water. For the collective sum of 2000 dollars, a well will be installed in the town to collect and sanitate rain water, providing the people there with not only a higher standard of hygiene, but a convenient and timely means of collecting water. Though a small act of charity, this fundraiser will give back hours of water-gathering labor to the people, while also securing their welfare. It may even save lives.
1.1 billion people are in too much pain and too much duress. The water crisis can be resolved, drop by drop and well by well.
