Four years ago, I got really sick, I lost the use of both of my kidneys now I go to dialysis three time a week for four hours. I lost my job after teaching for 21 years as a Head start Teacher. It's a big struggle every day when your body is feeling sick you can't do the things you use to do for yourself, family members and grandchildren. You have to depend on them to help you, you feel like a big pain and that really puts you down. I went through testing at the Mayo Hospital in Phoenix AZ for kidney transplant I passed and completed the testing and was put on waiting because of financial reason to pay for transplant and a place I have to stay up to six weeks, because they check to see how the new kidney is adjusting to your body every day. I have been on dialysis for four years. I have seen friends that I have made, there at the dialysis center past on, it's not a very good feeling it just puts you down more.
