Having grown up in the small town of South Pittsburg, TN, Beth Hamilton knows the powerful impact of a supportive and nurturing community. While attending UTC, Beth became a volunteer at Big Brothers Big Sisters and was a 'Big Sis' to Jamie C. From there, an interest to promote the independence of others was sparked and a degree in Non-Profit Management was obtained.
The following years were spent working for various non-profits. After taking a hiatus from the non-profit work world, she wanted to get involved as a volunteer again. Because of the sense of community, Beth was impressed with programs at Northside Neighborhood House that were supporting families in need while providing them with tools for self sufficiency.
Beth became a board member at NNH and served as chair for the Marketing & Branding Committee. She also serves on the membership committee for SMGCC. She works in Sales for Pincelli & Associates, finding alternative re-use options for industrial byproducts.
As a wife to husband Barry, Mother to Sloan (4) and Bryan (2), and 17 years into still being a 'Big Sis' to Jamie C., Beth still makes time for fun. She says she is a horrible target shooter and golfer, a mediocre boxer and softball player, and an excellent dancer and karaoke singer when the lighting is just right and the hour is past 12:00 am!
Although work, family, and play keep her busy, she always has time to ‘get dunked’ for the Northside Neighborhood House!
Donations to Beth support the Northside Neighborhood House.
