President, Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga
Help us dunk THE Pete Cooper! Mr. Cooper has agreed to go in the dunk tank for Chambliss Center for Children under one condition…..we raise $5,000, or he gets off the hook! He will not go in for a penny less, so please help us reach the goal!
In his day job, Mr. Cooper runs a small charitable foundation in town by talking to a lot of donors and giving away a little money. He has been at the Community Foundation since 1990, when he left a high-paying job at a local bank to do something a whole lot more fun. Let’s hope it’s paid off. If nothing else, he has met a lot of people along the way that might want to see him get DUNKED!
So, if you didn’t get a grant you asked for, are friends with Pete, serve on his over-worked board of directors, are one of his pressured staff, or have just always wanted to see him in a dunk tank, PLEASE donate here and share it with all who know him. Then, if we make the goal, come down to Miller Plaza on September 12th during lunch time to take a turn at dunking him. In the unlikely, unfortunate event that we do not make our goal, please consider your donation as your good deed for the day.
Pete supports many local charities but had his arm twisted to support Chambliss Center for Children at this event. While he may not admit it, he really loves children and wants to see them get the best possible start in life. Chambliss Center does that through it’s early childhood education program as well as its residential program for children who have been removed from their homes. Thanks for donating and for helping get Pete DUNKED!!!
