BENEFITING: YWCA Boulder County
The 11th annual Dancing with Boulder Stars takes place at the Boulder Theater on Wednesday, October 25th at 7 pm. Can't wait to see you there! YOU decide who will be this year’s Dancing with Boulder Stars Champion. Place your “vote” for me by donating towards YWCA Boulder County programs. YWCA Boulder County is dedicated to eliminating racism; empowering women; and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Your donation will benefit YWCA's many programs and help those most in need.
Bryan is an Owner/Senior Wealth Advisor with Baum & Blockhus Wealth Management Services. He has a proven history of over 35 years developing client relationships with and managing the wealth of high-net worth individuals. Bryan is considered to be a trusted advisor to many in the financial community as a licensed investment and insurance broker, as well as in his own local community as the former Mayor of the City of Longmont. He was elected to office in November, 2009 where he worked to implement the vision established for the direction of the city and facilitated specific actions required to meet City goals. On top of upholding his duties as Mayor, he still found time to successfully maintain his wealth management practice.
In 2002, Bryan was given the honor to carry the Olympic torch as it passed through Boulder County. He was also the proud recipient of the Longmont Distinguished Citizen Award presented by the Longs Peak Council, and The International Theo Ratliff Rebound Award presented by Youngevity International, Inc. He also serves on Intergovernmental Boards and Associations, Longmont Municipal Board, and Longmont Not-for-Profit Board.
In his free time, Bryan has hosted various radio shows on KRCN AM1060 where he enjoyed engaging in debate and dialogue with on-air participants and call-in listeners. He attributes the success of these shows largely to his ability to listen and respond rapidly and accurately to listeners.
Bryan is excited to be a part of DWBS as a Celebrity this year because he feels that having the opportunity to participate in a worthwhile civic project where he can personally make a positive difference in the community is a no brainer.
