BENEFITING: Dysautonomia International
Event: Team Larkin and Race to Beat POTS
When: Saturday June 18, 2017
If you would have told me 7 years ago I would be able to jog again I would have never believed you.
Please joing me physically and or virtually on Saturday June 18th for my very own 5k race! Since we all are not able to travel to Pennsulvania for the real Race to Beat POTS, I wanted to create my own event to help push for even more awareness.
If you are unable to run, jog, walk or roll yourself that Saturday you can still show your support by wearing turqiouse and or donating. Every dollar that is donated goes directly to Dysautonomia International which is a huge organization that is not only spreading awareness about POTS, but is on a mission to find a cure for it. POTS impacts 1 out of 100 teenagers and adults. There is approximately 1-3 million Americans who have had their lives changed because of POTS. Our symptoms varey per person and day but POTS can cause lightheadness, fainting, tachycardia, chest pains, shortness of breath, GI upset, shaking, exercise intolerance, temperature sensitivity and more.
Your support Team Larkin and the Race to Beat POTS is greatly appreciated! I look forward to seeing who all joins me in this day of celebration and awareness!
