Butch’s ladies need new beds.
So we need a TRUNK full of donations and a NEW CONTEST.
So I gave Butch a shout out to get the scoop.
He needs 4 beds for his ladies. The company who makes Elephant beds has donated one to the Ranch for testing and it was a HUGE success, Butch loves it, so now he needs 4 more. The problem $ 6,000 for each bed. This is not your ‘Cloud’ or ‘Serta’, but a very specialized mate they sleep on in their barns. Past beds have been only moderately successful as they are held down by metal bars and those ladies keep rolling and tossing around and tear them up. These new beds are glued with a nontoxic glue to the floors so they stay in place and the ladies can’t rip them from the floor.
I asked what I could do and how the Crowdrise Family could help. He gave me a TALL order. Can you get us at least one bed?
Now I hope his big ears are ringing, because I spoke with Heather, one of his keepers and she has agreed to help us out with PRIZES for a really big CONTEST.

E.A.R.S. stands for Elephants of Africa Rescue Society. I have been there twice in the past year and am so impressed! What a thrill to go to bed and wake up to the sounds of all of the animals. It's as if you were in Africa. As good as the sounds of the animals are, so is the staff. Each and every animal has a name and is truly loved and cared for. Butch and his ladies are stars, but I am very found of Forest (monkey) See all the great pictures on this page!
They need your help. They are running out of space and did you ever try feeding and elephant? When Butch brings your food in the morning you MUST feed him first or you will loose yours. And at bed time it is an entire loaf of bread before he hits the hay.
So take a minute look at my photos, MAKE A DONATION and then go to http://www.wildthingsinc.com/html/e_a_r_s_.html to see more of the family.
