Organized by: Deepak Dorje Tamang
My personal mission is to built locally appropriate housing construction which are earthquake resistant for poor rural families from local materials such as wood, bamboo, stones, bricks, slates, shingles and mud including adobe type homes. A mega-earthquake measuring 7.9 magnitude on the Richter Scale struck Nepal on 25 April, 2015 and has affected nearly 8 million people mostly in rural areas. This initiative will provide relief to victims to rebuild their homes in five out of nearly 30 districts namely Kavrepalanchowk, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Makwanpur and Okhaldunga districts in central Nepal.
