The tragedy that hit Nepal on April, 25 has touched the hearts of many around the world. We have witnessed Nepal Earthquake at 4,000 meters in the Himalayas and for 2 days were walking down through ruined villages and horrific sites of tragedy. We witnessed death and destruction that no human should be part of. Thousands have died.
Thanks to this campaign, we raised enough funds to buy water tanks and water pipes for Dharapani Secondary School in Gorkha region of Nepal. The school's water system was destroyed during the #nepalearthquake - tanks got damaged beyond repair, so school kids and teachers had to walk 3 miles to the water source. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to help the school (that was completely destroyed as well, and is now conducting classes in temporary shelters) rebuild its water supply.
Right now we are 100% involved in the Earthbag Rebuild Nepal project and are collecting funds for an internationally acclaimed Earthbag building educator Owen Geiger to come to Nepal and teach Nepali builders to build houses out of earth. If you want to help this initiative, please donate to Owen's campaign.
All donations are 501(k)3 tax-deductible. Please request a receipt by email.
