BENEFITING: SERVE THE CHILDREN
EVENT DATE: Nov 15, 2013
Get a head start on Thanksgiving, Thanksgivukkah or Christmas, while giving education, love and hope to kids!
Buy a turkey. Or wine.
Donors in the Tacoma, Washington area may choose a fresh* turkey and local wines for the giving levels shown below. (Items may also be available to donors who live far away, but availability and descriptions will vary.)
Turkey orders must be received by noon this Friday, October 11. For wine, take your time...
$22: one bottle of holiday wine (your choice of Cab/Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, or dessert wine)
$42: two bottles of holiday wine
$60: three bottles of holiday wine
$75: a fresh Free Range turkey--raised humanely on healthful grains and allowed to roam freely; high protein vegetarian, gluten-free diet and plenty of nutrients provide bigger, more flavorful turkeys; no preservatives, no added hormones, no antibiotics ever; raised in California--don't judge! (Please indicate 8-12 pounds, 12-16 pounds, or 16-20 pounds in the comment box during checkout.)
$125: a fresh Organic turkey--just like the free-range turkeys but they are fed a premium, certified organic, non-GMO diet; they are allowed to roam. (Please indicate 8-12 pounds or 16-20 pounds in the comment box during checkout.)
$250: a fresh Heritage turkey--superior taste with more dark meat; flavorful, juicy, and moist; raised the old-fashioned way with plenty of space, a longer life, and a high protein diet; size will vary due to long life. (Please indicate 7-14 pounds or 14-20 pounds in the comment box during checkout.)
Turkeys and wine may be given as gifts to your friends or family! Just choose that option during the checkout process. An e-card can even be sent to them, from you!
Turkeys and wine will be ready for pick up in Tacoma between Saturday, November 23 and Tuesday, November 26. We'd hook up the Turkey Trailer and deliver them to you, but for your safety, the turkeys need to stay cool. Henri the Turkey Guy said so.
Questions? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, call Martha at 253 686 4242, or put comments in the comment box during the checkout process.
* PARDON THE FOWL LANGUAGE: A turkey may be labeled "fresh" only if it has never been chilled below 26 degrees Fahrenheit. Turkeys freeze at 26 degrees, not 32 degrees.
Thanks so much--you're awesome! Your donation to Serve The Children will help support 1,400 kids in the All God's Children school system in Liberia, West Africa. And 95 children at the Ankoor Children's Home in India. Established in 1996, we exist to improve the future of children by meeting their educational, emotional and physical needs in a biblically-based environment.
If you love this project, share it with your friends before this Friday. :)
